How to install iOS 16

Updating the iPhone operating system to iOS 16 is very simple. You have to go to Settings , then to the General section and there to Software Update . The phone will search for the new version, and when it finds it, it will offer to start the download of iOS 16 and then continue the process. One of the most noticeable changes has to do with the  notifications with the locked screen , which now will not occupy the entire screen, but  will be seen at the bottom of the panel , to facilitate their manipulation with the thumb, and taking into account that reaching to a notification on a large iPhone (a 13 Pro Max, for example) requires using two hands. Thus, now they will be seen in a kind of carousel; it will be possible to advance in it, discard the notifications that we no longer want to see, etc.

Another addition that comes with this version is the ability to edit and cancel messages sent by the Apple messenger (iMessage), as well as the ability to schedule the sending of an email to a certain.


In addition, with iOS 16 it will be possible to copy an object from a photo, and have it cut out the silhouette automatically, isolating it from the background; recognize text in a video to be able to copy it; keep the keyboard visible during a voice dictation to correct the translation; share an iCloud online photo album with up to 5 people (like Google Photos); have new functions of parental control and security check of its members (which allows, for example, to cut digital ties with a person with a click).
